Ellen Courson, MD, MBA

Ellen Courson, MD is Board-Certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a member of ACOG. Dr. Courson is a native of Valdosta and a graduate of Valdosta High School and Valdosta State University. She has practiced in Valdosta since 1992. Dr. Courson is a graduate of The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) where she completed her internship and residency. Dr. Courson was appointed as an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology by The Medical College of Georgia in 2001 and enjoys teaching 3rd year MCG students.

Dr. Courson is also a graduate of Auburn University with her Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree.

The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine recently named Dr. Courson as an Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Courson welcomes third year DO students to Valdosta.

Danielle McFarland, MD

Board-Certified by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. McFarland is a native of Valdosta-Lowndes County and a graduate of Lowndes High School and Georgia Tech. She has practiced in Valdosta since 2006. Dr. McFarland is a graduate of The Medical College of Georgia. She completed her internship and residency at the Atlanta Medical Center.

Owen K. Youles, MD – Emeritus

Janice Studstill, RN, CST

A Certified Surgical Technologist. Janice serves as the office manager as well as patient liason. Janice is certified in Syneron procedures.

Janice has experience as a Certified Surgical Technican and has served as the manager of a local surgical center. She also has experience as a Registered Nurse and Charge Nurse at local hospitals
